Material & Finish

Most of Lur Design products are manufactured from high-quality ABS plastic except for rear diffuser and rear splitters, all are durable and lightweight materials widely used in the automotive industry for its impact resistance, flexibility, and longevity.

Each piece is carefully shaped and finished in a deep gloss black coating that highlights the car’s body lines and delivers a premium appearance straight out of the box.

Our ABS components are designed to withstand daily conditions — including UV exposure, heat, and moisture — while maintaining a smooth surface and consistent color over time.

To maintain the premium gloss finish and appearance of your Lur Design parts, we recommend the following care guidelines:

Hand wash only – avoid automatic car washes that use brushes, as they may cause surface scratches.
Use a pH-neutral shampoo or dedicated detailing products suitable for painted and plastic surfaces.
Do not use abrasive cloths or harsh chemicals.
After washing, dry with a soft microfiber towel to prevent water spots.

SAFETY & LEGAL

General Safety Warning
⚠ Work on a flat surface with the parking brake engaged; use
wheel chocks as needed.
Required PPE: work gloves, safety glasses/eye protection, and a
dust/vapor mask when drilling or using solvents.
Disconnect power when working near wiring/sensors. Do not
drill/cut near fuel or brake lines, airbag wiring, or factory harnesses.
Keep clear of hot components (exhaust and more); allow full
cooling before contact.
Compatibility, Sensors & Function
Ensure there is no obstruction to parking sensors, radar, cameras,
airflow, or exhaust.
Open/close doors and trunk to confirm no contact with installed
parts. If contact occurs, stop and adjust before driving.
